Thomas Stanley
MRICS FAAV – Director

Thomas is a director at Athene Associates. He is a rural chartered surveyor with over 20 years’ experience working for some of the UK’s leading firms. Thomas also has extensive experience in negotiation and dispute resolution and is focused on reducing clients energy consumption costs and enabling carbon offsetting. His daily work includes a wide range of rural practice encompassing utilities, subsidy claims, grant schemes, contract farming, lettings and acquisition. Thomas is a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV), a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a RICS Assessor.

Kay Boylan

Kay is all about the numbers. She is responsible for client accounting as well as providing invaluable support on regulatory compliance. Kay has held similar roles for a number of SME’s in East Lothian over the last twenty years, during which time she has accumulated a wealth of experience in financial accounting and data management. Kay is a solution orientated and technology savvy professional with a strong client focus.

Liz Kilpatrick

Liz came to Edinburgh 25 years ago to join Scottish Courage as a Marketing Manager. She brings communications, project management and organizational skills to this new role. A trustee and Secretary of East Lothian Foodbank for 7 years, and having served as a Community Councillor, Liz has experience of many local organisations and council departments and is well versed in the importance of good governance. Most of all, she enjoys dealing with people.
